National Insurance Company Ltd vs Maya Devi

Om Prakash and Smt. Asha Rani in a road accident. The Court affirmed the MACT's findings that the Insurance Company was jointly and severally liable to pay the awarded compensation, rejecting the Insurance Company's appeals against the High Court's dismissal of their claims. The total compensation of Rs.67,50,000 for Sh. Om Prakash and Rs.8,70,000 for Smt. Asha Rani was maintained with interest at 9% per annum.
