Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court upheld the dismissal of the petition under Section 482 of the Cr.PC, affirming the High Court's decision to not quash the complaint alleging offences under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, and 472 IPC, along with Section 13 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. The Court established that the ingredients for the offences were sufficiently made out in the complaint, and the summoning order was justified. Consequently, the appeals were dismissed, allowing the criminal proceedings to continue against the accused.
