The Court found that the dismissal of the appellant's writ petition by the High Court was erroneous, as it failed to consider the binding nature of the revised regulations. Consequently, the Court set aside the High Court's decision and ruled in favor of the appellant, allowing him to continue in service until the age of sixty-five.
