Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court addressed an appeal against the NCLAT's decision which reversed the NCLT's admission of an application under Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The court examined the issue of limitation raised by the corporate-debtor and found that the operational creditor had provided sufficient evidence of transactions and dishonoured cheques to support their claim. The court ultimately ruled in favor of the operational creditor, allowing the appeal and reinstating the NCLT's order of admission.
