The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal challenging the NCLAT's order which rejected the modification application related to the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). The court noted that if a settlement occurs between the parties, it could be filed under Section 12A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The NCLAT had directed the Interim Resolution Professional to convene a meeting of the Committee of Creditors to decide on the resolution process for the Corporate Debtor.
