A.SUBRAMANIAN vs R.PANNERSELVAM

The Supreme Court upheld the judgment of the Madras High Court which restored the trial court's decree in favor of the plaintiff, R. Pannerselvam, for permanent injunction against the defendants. The court found that the plaintiff had validly purchased the suit property from the descendants of the original owner, Dhasi Naidu, and that the defendants had no legitimate claim to disturb the plaintiff's possession. The appeal by the defendants was thus dismissed, affirming the lower court's decision.
