Judgment text excerpt

The appellant sought the grant of probate for a Will dated 20.05.2003, acting as both the executor and the primary beneficiary. Both the Trial Court and the High Court of Delhi rejected the prayer for probate due to several unexplained suspicious circumstances surrounding the execution of the Will. The Supreme Court is now tasked with determining whether the execution of the Will was established in compliance with the law and if the suspicious circumstances justify the denial of probate.
