The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the High Court which directed the North Delhi Municipal Corporation to consider the regularization of the respondents as Entomologists. The court noted that the respondents had been working since 1997-98 and were appointed through a public advertisement. While the court declined to interfere with the regularization, it allowed the Municipal Corporation discretion regarding the grant of monetary benefits from 2008, which had been contested.
