Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the order passed by the Registrar under Section 94 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 is appealable under Section 112 of the same Act. The Court found that the observations made by the Delhi High Court did not prejudice the rights of the parties or influence the Registrar's decision. Consequently, the Court declined to entertain the appeal, allowing the appellant to pursue the statutory remedy available under the law, and directed that any appeal filed within 60 days be treated as within the limitation period.
