The Supreme Court held that the High Court erred in simultaneously recalling its earlier orders and dismissing the criminal original petitions without assigning reasons. The Court clarified that recalling the orders restored the petitions for disposal on merits, and thus the High Court should have fixed them for final hearing. The Court upheld the recall of the orders but set aside the dismissal of the petitions, allowing the appeals in part.
