Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the appellant, possessing an equivalent qualification for KGTE Typewriting, was wrongly denied appointment due to a lack of a separate Computer Word Processing certificate, which was not required for those who qualified before January 2002. The Court clarified that the term 'produce' in the notification allows for submission at the time of verification or appointment, and thus the High Court's ruling was set aside. The appellant is to be appointed as per her rank in the list within three months.
