The Supreme Court, while adjudicating a writ petition under Article 32, directed the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct a fresh inspection of the petitioners' institutions for approval to establish Anant Institute of Business Studies. The Court noted that the previous rejection was based on the EVC team's inability to inspect due to non-cooperation from the petitioners, which was now resolved as the petitioners agreed to a new inspection. The Court held that the earlier rejection would not impede the fresh inspection process, thereby allowing the petitioners to pursue their application for approval.
