The Supreme Court allowed the appellant, K. Naveen Kumar, to purge contempt by presenting a demand draft of Rs.42,08,818 to the Commercial Tax Officer and two demand drafts of Rs.2,00,000 each to the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authorities, along with a written and oral apology in court. The Court deferred the arrest ordered by the High Court for one month to enable compliance with these conditions. The appeal was disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
