The Supreme Court modified its earlier judgment dated 13th May, 2015, allowing the publication of photographs of Governors and Chief Ministers, in addition to the President, Prime Minister, and Chief Justice, provided the respective authorities decide on the matter. It also permitted the publication of photographs of the Departmental Ministers in lieu of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister's photographs. The Court clarified that all other directions from the previous judgment remain in effect, thereby ensuring continuity in the legal framework established.
