The Supreme Court held that the land value for the acquired land from the appellants should be fixed at Rs. 90,000 per acre, in line with the precedent set in 'Surinder & Ors. Vs. State of Haryana & Anr.' (Civil Appeal No. 5150 of 2009). The Court allowed the appeals, enhancing the compensation from Rs. 81,000 to Rs. 90,000, along with all statutory benefits. The respondents were directed to compute and deposit the amounts within four months.
