The Court noted that the respondents had surrendered possession of the disputed property and deposited Rs. 82,37,958.11, which is to be transferred to the Court of Small Causes, Mumbai, for the ongoing mesne profits proceedings. The Court clarified that all issues regarding mesne profits remain open for adjudication in the Small Causes Court.
