Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court dismissed the Writ Petition under Article 32 of the Constitution, stating that the petitioners, who were working as Systems Officers and Systems Assistants on a contractual basis, have an alternative remedy available under Article 226. The Court held that it is not inclined to entertain the petition as the petitioners can seek appropriate relief from the High Court. Thus, the petition was dismissed without prejudice to the petitioners' right to approach the High Court.
