RATTAN LAL vs STATE OF PUNJAB

The Supreme Court, in the case of Rattan Lal v. State of Punjab, held that the appellants are entitled to an additional compensation of Rs.1,00,000 per acre, following the principle of parity established in Paramjit Panag & Ors. v. State of Punjab. The Court also granted the appellants all statutory benefits, excluding the period covered by the delay in refiling the special leave petitions. The appeals were disposed of accordingly, with no costs awarded.
