SECURITIES & EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA vs DSQ SOFWARE LTD. & ANR.

The Supreme Court held that the order dated 3rd February 2016, requiring Respondent No.2 to deposit Rs.30 Crores with SEBI, was not complied with, leading to the revival of the SEBI order dated 9th September 2004. The Court set aside the orders of the Securities Appellate Tribunal dated 8th December 2015 and 7th March 2006, thereby reinstating the original SEBI directive. The appeal was allowed with no order as to costs.
