The Supreme Court allowed the appeal for expunction of adverse observations made by the High Court against the appellant, who is a presiding Judge. The Court held that while a Judge may pass a wrong order, it does not warrant adverse remarks against them. Consequently, all such remarks in the impugned order were expunged, thereby upholding the dignity of the judicial office.
