Orissa State Housing Board vs Indira English Medium School & Ors

The Supreme Court set aside the High Court's judgment directing the Orissa State Housing Board to allot 1.55 acres of land to the respondent-School Management. The Court held that the State of Orissa is to identify alternate land for the school, contingent upon the school management obtaining the necessary affiliation from the appropriate authority. The Court directed the school management to apply for the identified land within one month and clarified that the land allotted should not be less than 1.55 acres.
