The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal in Criminal Appeal No. 1126 of 2007, affirming the High Court's conviction of the appellants under Sections 148, 302, 506, 342, and 436 read with 149 IPC. The Court upheld the life imprisonment sentence for the offence under Section 302 IPC and a ten-year sentence for the offence under Section 436 IPC, both to run concurrently. The Court also ordered the cancellation of bail bonds for those previously granted bail and directed their immediate imprisonment.
