Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court ruled that the complaint filed against the respondents under Section 195(1)(b) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 was not authorized by the Allahabad High Court, thus negating the necessity for prior sanction from the High Court. The Court found that the proceedings leading to the purported order dated 25th May, 1990 were fabricated, indicating a deep-rooted conspiracy, and directed the CBI to investigate the matter. Consequently, the orders under appeal were upheld without interference.
