The Supreme Court dismissed the Contempt Petition (Civil) No.172 of 2010 as it was contingent upon the outcome of Writ Petition (Civil) No.354 of 2005, which had already been dismissed. The Court held that with the dismissal of the underlying writ petition, there were no grounds left for consideration in the contempt proceedings. Thus, the contempt petition was disposed of accordingly.
