Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court upheld the High Court's decision that the suit properties are self-acquired by late Shri Kunnaiah, thus entitling the plaintiff to a 1/10th share. The Court affirmed the validity of the Will dated 14th June 1991, executed by Kunnaiah, which bequeathed the properties to the appellant, thereby denying the plaintiff's claim for a larger share. The judgment of the trial court was set aside, and the appeal was dismissed, confirming the distribution of shares among the defendants as per the High Court's decree.
