The Supreme Court granted permission to the appellant to withdraw the appeal while allowing them to file a Writ Petition in the High Court against the orders of the Ministry of Environment & Forests dated 9.8.2010. The Court directed that the High Court should decide the matter on merits without considering the limitation period and restrained the respondents from raising the issue of res judicata. The appeal was disposed of accordingly.
