B.S.N.L. Ltd vs Man Singh

The Supreme Court set aside the High Court judgment and the Labour Court award dated 27.5.2005, directing Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. to pay Rs. 2 lakhs to each respondent as full and final settlement of their claim within six weeks. The Court stipulated that if the payment is not made within the specified time, it shall attract interest at the rate of 12% per annum. The appeals were allowed, and the parties were directed to bear their own costs.
