State Of Orissa vs Government Of India & Anr

The Supreme Court directed the Union of India to provide necessary infrastructural facilities for the functioning of the Vansadhara Water Dispute Tribunal by July 31, 2011, following the appointment of its Chairman. The Court noted that the request from the State of Andhra Pradesh for such infrastructure was supported by the State of Orissa, and the Union of India assured compliance within the stipulated time. The applications filed by both states were allowed and disposed of accordingly.
