SIDDHARTH JAIN vs STATE OF HARYANA

The Supreme Court quashed FIR No. 246 dated 11th August 2009, DLF Police Station, Gurgaon, based on the agreement between the appellant and the complainant regarding the payment of Rs. 3.75 lakhs, along with interest at six percent per annum from the date of issuance of the cheque until the date of deposit. The Court held that the agreed terms were satisfactory for disposing of the appeal. The appeal was thus disposed of in accordance with the terms agreed upon by the parties.
