The Supreme Court, under Article 139A(2) of the Constitution and Section 25 of the Code of Civil Procedure, ordered the transfer of two cases: a marriage petition and a criminal case involving allegations under Sections 498A, 406, 313, and 120B IPC, to a competent court in Delhi for joint hearing. The Court also directed the husband, Sukhminder Jeet Singh, to pay Rs. 25,000 as maintenance to his wife, Tarinder Kaur, failing which his application under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act would be dismissed. The petitions were disposed of with these directions.
