Arulmani & Anr vs State Tr.Insp.Of Police

The Supreme Court set aside the order dated 18.3.2008 of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court due to a violation of the principles of natural justice, as the hearing was preponed without notice to the appellants or their counsel. The Court remitted the matters back to the Madurai Bench for a fresh hearing with proper notice to all parties involved. The Court also urged for an expedited disposal of the criminal appeals considering the prolonged incarceration of the appellants.
