The Supreme Court upheld the conviction of A-3 under Section 302 IPC for murder and A-1 to A-4, A-6, A-7, A-9 to A-13 under Section 302 read with Section 149 IPC, as well as under Section 307 IPC and Sections 3 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act, 1908. The Court found that the accused had conspired to kill the deceased, Y.S. Raja Reddy, and executed the plan using explosives, resulting in his death. The appeal by the State was allowed, affirming the convictions and sentences imposed by the High Court.
