Air India Ltd vs Jet Airways (India) Ltd. & Ors

The Supreme Court dismissed the appeals filed by Air India Ltd. against Jet Airways (India) Ltd. as infructuous due to the expiration of the contract in June 2009. The Court held that once the underlying contract has lapsed, the legal disputes arising from it cannot be adjudicated. Consequently, all interim orders related to these appeals were vacated.
