Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) improperly cancelled the allotment of Plot No. 817 under the general category after the appellant failed to produce an Integrity Certificate for Plot No. 946 under the Government employees quota within 90 days, as required by clause 10(iii) of the Allotment Brochure. The Court established that if the appellant was not eligible for the Government employees quota, she should not have been denied the general category plot. The Court directed HUDA to accept the belated Integrity Certificate and confirm the allotment of the plot to the appellant.
