Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that once a final order is passed in a writ petition, all interim orders merge into the final order and cease to exist, as established in prior jurisprudence. Consequently, the appeal became infructuous due to the final order issued by the High Court, leading to the dismissal of the appeal. The Court also dismissed the Contempt Petition as it was rendered moot by the final order.
