Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission's order, which set aside the Madhya Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission's decision, was unsustainable. The Court found that the appellant Board was entitled to charge 10% extra for corner plots and 5% for best location plots as per the terms and conditions of registration and allotment. The Court maintained the State Commission's order, thereby nullifying the decisions of the District Forum and the National Commission, and allowed the appeal.
