Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the appellants were eligible for the post of Laboratory Technicians under Rule 11 of the Rajasthan Medical and Health Subordinate Service Rules, 1965, as they had completed the required secondary school examination and nine months of training from recognized institutes. The Court found that the High Court erred in denying their eligibility, and thus allowed the appeals, setting aside the impugned orders and directing that the appellants be considered for appointment when the posts are advertised, with age relaxation if necessary. The appeal concerning the delay in condoning was dismissed.
