The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Andhra Pradesh High Court which dismissed the Civil Revision Petition under Section 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973. The Court found that the Appellate Tribunal correctly set aside the surrender of 11 acres and 07 guntas of land based on the possession of the land by the respondent since 1971, as per Section 10(5)(a)(ii) of the Act. The Court concluded that the findings of the Land Reforms Tribunal were unsustainable due to the respondent's established possession prior to the notified date.
