The Supreme Court granted bail to the petitioners accused of multiple offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 332, 353, 336, 436 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Damage to the Public Property Act, 1984, considering their custody since June 2007 and the circumstances of the case. The Court directed the petitioners to furnish bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 each with two sureties to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge. The appeals were disposed of accordingly.
