Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court addressed the issue of whether a landlord's offer of alternative premises, initially refused by tenants, remains open for acceptance when the tenants later express willingness to accept it. The Court held that the offer of two shops made by the landlord is valid for acceptance, and if the landlord delivers possession of the shops, the tenants must vacate the original premises. The special leave petition was dismissed with directions regarding possession transfer and execution of the decree if the conditions are not met.
