Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court, while disposing of Transfer Petition (Crl.) No. 184 of 2007 under Section 406 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, noted that the parties had settled their disputes out of court. The Court directed that all pending cases, including FIR No. 663 of 2005, be transferred to a competent court in Delhi and quashed all criminal cases arising from matrimonial and guardianship proceedings between the parties. The petition was allowed in accordance with the terms of the settlement, with each party bearing their own costs.
