Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the suit for specific performance of a contract of employment is maintainable under Section 14 of the Specific Relief Act, 1963, despite the defendants' claim that four persons were employed. The Court found that the appellants failed to provide sufficient evidence to support their claim that the respondent's son was employed, and thus upheld the lower courts' decisions. Consequently, the appeal was allowed, and the suit was dismissed, setting aside the orders of the Trial Court, First Appellate Court, and High Court.
