The Court found that the benefits were only available to those currently in service at the time of the Memorandum's issuance, as clarified in Clause 2(i) of the Memorandum. The Court concluded that since the respondent had taken voluntary retirement before the Prasar Bharati Corporation's establishment, he was not entitled to the claimed benefits.
