The Court found that the contentions regarding lack of territorial jurisdiction and limitation under Section 468(1) Cr.P.C. were not sufficient to quash the proceedings at this stage. The Court held that the trial court is the appropriate forum to evaluate the merits of the allegations, thereby maintaining the status quo of the proceedings in C.C. No. 72/2002.
