Judgment text excerpt

The Supreme Court held that the Scheme for the development of a commercial hub in Noida was not arbitrary and did not violate Article 14 of the Constitution. The Court found that the reserve price was set in accordance with market conditions, as the only bid received was above the reserve price. The Court upheld the decision of the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) to accept the tender from DLF Universal Ltd., thereby dismissing the petitioner's challenge to the Scheme.
