The Supreme Court granted leave to appeal and dispensed with printing, allowing the appeals to be heard on SLP paper books. The Court ordered that any additional documents must be filed within ten weeks and stated that the original record need not be called for. The interim order from 12th May 2003 was continued until further orders, and all proceedings before the Single Judge and Division Bench were stayed.
