The Supreme Court ruled that there was no sufficient ground to transfer Criminal Miscellaneous Case No.1119/2002 from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. The Court directed the trial court to ensure the petitioner and her witnesses are summoned for evidence recording only once or twice, and mandated that the respondents pay the petitioner Rs.1,000 per day for expenses. Additionally, the Court ordered that police protection be provided to the petitioner and her witnesses in case of any threats from the respondents.
