The appellant, Bimla Devi, challenged her conviction for murder and causing hurt under Sections 302, 325, and 323 read with Section 34 of the IPC. The trial court and High Court had previously convicted her and several others for the death of Jaipal Singh, sentencing her to life imprisonment.
