The Court found that the tenant's claim of having sent a money order was unsubstantiated, as the money order was returned with the endorsement 'Addressee not found', and the landlord was out of town at the time. The Court held that the tenant's failure to pay rent constituted a default, thereby restoring the eviction order issued by the Rent Controller.
