Judgment text excerpt

The Tribunal dismissed the appeal of the appellants, who claimed a right to permanent absorption in the commercial department after being temporarily deputed from the Loco Shed. The Court held that since the appellants retained their lien in the Loco Shed and were drawing their salary from there, they could not claim absorption in the commercial department. The order repatriating them to their parent organization was found to be valid and not violative of any provisions, and the issue of seniority was not addressed as it was not part of the appeal.
